Capability Journeys Built
for Lasting Performance

Every organisation has different capability gaps and performance priorities. We work with you to design a structured learning journey that helps leaders and teams build the skills, judgement and confidence to perform more consistently over time.

Why Lasting Capability Takes Time

A single learning experience can create insight and momentum. But when development is delivered as an isolated event, new behaviours can be difficult to sustain across teams, roles and locations.

Capability grows through repeated practice, feedback and application. Our capability journeys connect development to your organisation’s priorities and reinforce learning over time, helping new behaviours become part of how people work.

How Capability Journeys Build Lasting Performance

Sustainable performance improvement takes more than participation. People need to understand why change matters, know what good looks like, practise new behaviours and receive support as they apply them in real work.

We partner with you to design a multi-month programme aligned with your business priorities, leadership expectations and operating context. Each journey combines experiential learning, practical application, coaching, reinforcement and measurement.

The goal is simple: to help people use what they learn when it matters.

What Our Clients Say

This programme is crucial in helping our leadership navigate in this ever-changing time and its varying impact on individuals, defining leadership style that unlocks the full potential of self and others, and understanding the importance of the leadership role.

Fortune 500 Financial Institution - Regional Co-Head of Talent Development & Inclusion

We engaged Eagles Flight to help us implement a major cultural transformation initiative that was successfully rolled out to ~20k personnel globally. Their masterful engagement with our senior leadership team—focusing on changing behaviours through experiential learning—significantly improved our performance. Nearly 7 years later, it's still running strong.

John Baker - Executive Director, Manufacturing Data & Analytics

When we started this journey, we were a very executionally focused company. We wanted to build a culture where people were working smarter and focusing more on the bigger picture. That's been reinforced through the work that we've done—what we call [our] Way that we've developed along with Eagles Flight.

Capability Grows Through
Cycles of Learning

At the centre of every Eagles Flight capability journey is a simple behaviour change model: Heart, Head, Hands and Harvest.

These four elements are not steps to complete once. They form a continuous cycle that helps people build stronger capability over time.

Capability grows as each cycle builds on the last. Every experience creates new conviction, deeper understanding, stronger capability, and fresh opportunities to learn again.

Heart
Build conviction around what matters.
People are more likely to change when they understand why a behaviour matters and see the impact it has on performance.
Head
Create clarity around what good looks like.
People need a shared understanding of the knowledge, behaviours, and expectations that support success.
Hands
Practice before the moment matters.
New behaviours become more likely when people have opportunities to apply them, receive feedback, and build confidence in realistic situations.
Harvest
Reinforce what needs to continue.
As people apply new behaviours in the realities of work, reflection, coaching, reinforcement, and accountability help those experiences strengthen future capability.

Learning That Continues Beyond the Session

A strong learning experience can create insight and momentum. Lasting capability grows as people practise, receive feedback and apply new behaviours in the realities of work.

Our journeys support all three parts of development:

10%

Structured learning experiences that build conviction, knowledge, and skill.
Eagles Flight creates the foundation.

20%

Coaching, feedback, reflection, and conversations that help people turn learning into action.
Our experiences prepare leaders and teams to make those conversations more effective.

70%

Application in the flow of work, where behaviours are tested, strengthened, and sustained.
Acceler8 helps reinforce learning where capability is ultimately built: in the realities of work.

Our AI-powered talent development tool, supports this journey through short practice prompts, AI-supported coaching and dashboards that provide visibility into engagement and application.
It helps participants maintain momentum and continue developing between formal learning experiences.

Capability In Action

Capability matters when it changes what people do in the moments that influence performance.
Whether the focus is leadership, execution, safety, change, culture, frontline effectiveness, or team performance, the goal remains the same: helping people consistently apply the behaviours that drive results.

Aecon

Building Leadership Consistency Across Canada’s Most Complex Jobsites
Aecon was growing nationally, but the leadership expectations set at head office weren’t landing the same way on every jobsite. Eagles Flight built audience-specific programmes embedding a shared leadership language into performance evaluations, developing 3,000+ employees and leaders across remote and shift-based crews nationwide, with the executive team mandating the language organisation-wide.

Western Union

Making Customer-First Behaviour Stick Across 54 Countries
Previous initiatives at Western Union had generated energy at launch and then faded, widening the gap between stated values and daily behaviour across 54 countries. Eagles Flight co-created Leadership Edge, a six-day journey completed by 700 global frontline leaders and reinforced by 12 digital touchpoints, reaching 9,000 employees and driving a measurable increase in customer satisfaction scores.

Merck

When Safety Systems Aren’t Enough: How Merck Moved from Compliance to Conviction Across 52 Global Factories
Merck’s manufacturing network already had the systems, audits, and rules, but global discovery revealed employees didn’t believe safety outcomes were within their control. Eagles Flight built Safe by Choice to close that mindset gap, reaching 52 factories and roughly 20,750 employees while driving a 61% decrease in lost-time incident rates and a 64% increase in near-miss reporting.

Why the Journey Works

People are more likely to change when they understand why it matters, know what good looks like, have the chance to practise and receive support as they apply it.

Heart, Head, Hands and Harvest bring these elements together, helping new behaviours become part of how people work.
